Walking into Brucettes Shoes Inc. is reminiscent of earlier shopping days. The building itself
stands alone, the sleekly designed sales floor sits luxuriously and the crystal chandelier in the center of the ceiling
reflects in mirrored walls surrounding the entire store. A museum-style display of extraordinary shoes rests along side
the store for customer's delight and patronage.
Founder Louis Hoffman began his career selling shoes in high school through distributive Education.
He would sell shoes every afternoon until closing and afterward restock the inventory, sweep the floor and clean the
lavatory before going home to do schoolwork. After working and learning the business in other's establishments, Hoffman
opened his first store in the 1970's.
Hoffman's life-long work experience and love of the business have enabled him to establish relationships
with designers, manufacturers, and shoe representatives. These relationships enable him to work with the groups to
meet customer's needs for size, quality and price. Brucettes presents clients who have a difficult time finding
shoes a life-changing experience. Offering shoes ranging in size from 3-14 and withs from 4A-WW, Brucettes offers footwear
choices for those who usually have none.
For many, Brucettes stands as a destination. Hoffman and his team of salespersons have built
relationships with clients spanning generations. Many mothers who began as patrons of Brucettes in grade school bring
their daughters in for shoes today. Clients, many from around the state, country, or world come yearly or seasonally
to buy thier shoe and accessory wardrobes. Proudly, Brucettes has grown into the largest single size structure
salon in the Southwestern United States. Distinctive style, broad selection and exceptional customer service make shopping
